Virginia Boak Glahn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She provides counseling to adults, adolescents, couples and families, related to a wide range of problems. Virginia has worked in the field of counseling and human services for over twenty years. Her previous experience includes: in and out-patient adult psychiatric treatment, group counseling, case management, and counseling for adolescents, families and those in foster care. Virginia’s specific areas of interest in counseling are: depression, anxiety, domestic violence, women’s issues, relational problems, anger management, spirituality and natural remedies. Virginia emphasizes a holistic approach in counseling, drawing from many sources, to address all aspects of an individual’s well-being. Virginia is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists.
